Dear Bridgeland Residents,

As many Houstonians await Centerpoint repairs, Hurricane Beryl relief efforts in Bridgeland are ongoing. The City of Houston has eliminated their water supply to the West Harris County Regional Water Authority (WHCRWA). As a result, WHCRWA implemented emergency operating conditions and Stage 1 of their Drought Contingency Plan (DCP). Under emergency conditions, WHCRWA does not supply surface water to Harris County Municipal Utility District #418 Water Treatment Plant #1. The treatment plant services the majority of Harris County Municipal Utility District #419 and areas of #489.

Additionally, Water Treatment Plant #2 continues to rely on generator power as electricity has not yet been restored. This treatment plant provides water to Harris County Municipal Utility Districts #419, 489, 490, 491 and 493. This area is also serviced by Water Treatment Plant #4.

At this time, we ask that Bridgeland residents be mindful of water usage and make efforts to conserve water while restoration efforts of these critical resources are in progress. Should you have any questions or concerns, please visit Bridgelandwater.com or BWA Connect.
