BridgeFest BBQ Cook Teams – 17th Annual 3BQ

The 3BQ Cook-Off returns for its 17th year as the heart of BridgeFest weekend.

Team Space & Setup

  • 20’ x 20’ designated cook space
  • Sites assigned based on payment timestamp
  • Friday setup begins at 7:00 AM
  • Optional pit drop-off Thursday after 5:00 PM
  • No power available (generators permitted)
  • Fire extinguisher required

All teams must clean their area and properly dispose of trash and ashes.

A $25 cleanup fee will apply if sites are not cleared by 5:00 PM Saturday.

Competition Categories & Turn-In Times

All entries must fit inside provided containers.

  • 11:30 AM – Chicken (½ chicken, white & dark meat, skin intact)
  • 1:00 PM – Ribs (St. Louis Style ONLY – 8 bones)
  • 2:00 PM – Brisket (8 slices; burnt ends optional)

One entry per category per team.

Quick Fire Challenges – Friday Night

All participants must report to the judges area at 2:00 PM Friday for ingredient reveal.

Kid’s Choice Quick Fire

  • Judged by 5 kids
  • Cook to kid-friendly tastes
  • Turn-in: 7:30 PM
  • $500 Prize

Traditional Quick Fire

  • $20 buy-in
  • Winner takes all
  • Turn-in: 8:30 PM

All Quick Fire items must be prepared onsite.
