
The 3BQ Cook-Off returns for its 17th year as the heart of BridgeFest weekend.
Team Space & Setup
- 20’ x 20’ designated cook space
- Sites assigned based on payment timestamp
- Friday setup begins at 7:00 AM
- Optional pit drop-off Thursday after 5:00 PM
- No power available (generators permitted)
- Fire extinguisher required
All teams must clean their area and properly dispose of trash and ashes.
A $25 cleanup fee will apply if sites are not cleared by 5:00 PM Saturday.
Competition Categories & Turn-In Times
All entries must fit inside provided containers.
- 11:30 AM – Chicken (½ chicken, white & dark meat, skin intact)
- 1:00 PM – Ribs (St. Louis Style ONLY – 8 bones)
- 2:00 PM – Brisket (8 slices; burnt ends optional)
One entry per category per team.
Quick Fire Challenges – Friday Night
All participants must report to the judges area at 2:00 PM Friday for ingredient reveal.
Kid’s Choice Quick Fire
- Judged by 5 kids
- Cook to kid-friendly tastes
- Turn-in: 7:30 PM
- $500 Prize
Traditional Quick Fire
- $20 buy-in
- Winner takes all
- Turn-in: 8:30 PM
All Quick Fire items must be prepared onsite.
